Every day we have to manage an indefinite number of tasks, even against our will. Family commitments, personal problems, annoying requests from bosses, are all situations that often we would not have to handle. But we can not.
Having to deal with different events, with different people, in different places, we realize that it cannot exist a unique approach to follow, so that everything goes well by magic.
So what can we do to achieve our results without going crazy?
One thing I’ve learned so far is that if you put time and passion in what you do, results will come by themselves and even if almost no one is willing to admit it – at the end – what is important is not the outcome, but the passion you put in it.
There are basic rules that can help everyday to relax and feel more at ease with yourself and with others.
1. Keep order
Tidy up your home, your job and your head.
This will help you spend more time in comfortable environments.
Each task is composed of smaller activities.
Forget the mountain top: starting from the lowest step is a breeze.
3. Plan tomorrow
Tomorrow will be another busy day.
Plan it today: if you feel prepared you will sleep peacefully.
4. Accept limits
You are not a super-man. No one is and no one can be.
If you can accept this fact, you can finally focus on your real abilities.
5. Be self-critical
The most interesting people I know… they are.
You’ll be surprised to discover how much you can change and improve.
6. Take breath
Force yourself to stop from work. Everyday.
Do something that you want to do and not that you have to do.
7. Say sorry
Everytime is necessary and with anyone.
Never apologize means you’re never wrong (and people usually don’t like it).
8. Be patient
Everything is temporary, even if you can’t believe it.
Forcing things prevents you to analyze with care what’s going on.
9. Have fun
Find your way to enjoy what you are doing.
And do not let others to stop you from doing this. Never.
